Overall general health, a wonderful smile and healthy teeth are all attributed to having a daily dental hygiene routine. Gum disease and gingivitis can be prevented with maintaining a dental routine.
Depending on your dental, we recommend a visit to First Family Dental at least twice a year for a professional & thorough dental cleaning and examination. These routine visits will help eliminate plaque and tartar build build up. For individuals with periodontal disease, visits to our office should be close to 3-4 visits.
What do you do between visits?
According to the American Dental Association, daily brushing should occur twice a day with accepted fluoride toothpaste and flossing occurring twice a day. Flossing helps to eliminate bacteria from forming. Bacteria forms due to brushing that misses food particles.
